Students gain a strong foundation in the theoretical, technical and vocational aspects of architectural technology, preparing them for employment or further study in the field. This two-year programme provides a pathway into careers within the built environment, as well as progression to bachelor’s degrees in areas such as construction management, architecture, quantity surveying and land surveying. Graduates are prepared as building technicians, equipped with practical skills in drafting, construction materials, structural and mechanical systems, estimating, building design fundamentals, codes and specifications, presentation methods and computer applications.
