Department Description:
The KCCSON offers programmes to support and develop the health care industry, both locally and globally. The highly qualified and experienced faculty members engage students in theory and clinal practice throughout the lifespan of the programmes. Through an articulation agreement with the University of the West Indies, the 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing programme remains the gem of the department. On many occasions we boast the prestigious Lasco Student Nurse of the Year award and continue to maintain an excellent past rate in the Nursing Council of Jamaica licensing exam.
